Dear Mid Michigan Chapter CPCU Society Members,
As may know, a vote will be taken on October 24th to determine if the CPCU Society and The Institutes should integrate. On October 11th, your board reviewed the proposed affiliation of the CPCU Society with the Institutes and is in support of the affiliation. We recommend that the membership consider returning their proxy if they are unable to attend the conferment and, if they are planning on attending the conferment, that they exercise their right to vote on the affiliation based upon their own feelings and opinions. Welcome to the Mid-Michigan CPCU Chapter! It is our pleasure to welcome you to our website. Check back often for the latest available information about scheduled meetings and events.
The Mid-Michigan chapter is comprised of insurance professionals whose goal includes investing time and energy in equipping themselves to better serve the public. Our chapter is committed to continuing education, professional development, and service to others.
Our board is made up of very dedicated and conscientious individuals with diverse backgrounds. This allows us the opportunity to learn from each other and work together with great synergy to serve our members needs.
We have many programs in place that offer our members the opportunity to participate and learn. Committees have been established for I-Day, Circle of Excellence, Membership, Welcoming, Good Works, Education, Scholarships, among others.
The activity of our committees this past year resulted in the Mid-Michigan Chapter donating over $1,800 to the Mid-Michigan Autisim Association. Additionally, we provided $3,000 for scholarships, given to deserving college students that have displayed a commitment to insurance education.
